What changes?
As of 9/1/2022, there are important changes to student aid! Some are considered positive, such as the increase in the monthly allowance, the increase in age limits, and the increase in parental income limits. This increases your chance of receiving a grant. Unfortunately, there are also disadvantageous changes. here
If you are already receiving student aid, you don’t have to do anything. The changes will be made automatically for you.
Who gets how much student aid?

Don't miss the deadlines!
The application deadline for the study grant in the winter semester is
from September 20 to December 15 and in the summer semester.
from 20 February to 15 May
Requests made within this period will work back to the beginning of the semester.
In the winter semester, the student grant is awarded as of September, in the summer semester as of March. In the case of late applications, the entitlement is from the month of application.
If there are any changes in your circumstances (birth of your own child or a sibling, retirement of parents, marriage, graduation, etc.), this information must be reported to the Student Financial Aid Office as soon as possible.
