General information
The 2023 nationwide ÖH elections will be held from May 9 to May 11. In the elections to the Austrian National Union of Students, all students of Austrian public universities, universities of applied sciences, universities of teacher education and private universities can directly decide on their representation of interests every two years.
Through the ÖH fee, you are also entitled to vote on three levels to elect representatives! To be eligible to vote in the election, the ÖH fee for the summer semester must have been paid by March 21, 2023.
You will be given three ballots for the three levels of representation – i.e. student representation, university representation, and federal representation. You can cast your vote on any of the three election days at your college.
If you are not at your university at the time of the election, there is also the possibility of voting via absentee ballot. The absentee ballot can be applied for now via our election portal.
